Still here ... Did you have to ask? :)

Sorry for the absence. Work life here has been quite demanding -- still is for that matter.

Since our last visit some things have happened ...

Bill K came to ATL for a visit to attend a medical seminar. We visited both Thursday and Friday night, having dinner and lots of time for comment.

This past weekend, members of the gang came a-calling for the annual Dixie Classic bowling tourney. While our scores were not the best - at least on the bowling lanes ;) - we had a lot of fun visiting, eating, drinking, and stuff. The only down side to this was the fact that Mike wasn't here due to emergency surgery. (NOTE: Mike, glad you are feeling better. We missed your presence, and I really missed you.)

At the banquet (served as brunch), I was the only one to win anything - a $100 raffle drawing. All in all a nice event.

Oh, I left out a small item. Prior to the banquet, I told Princess that I was "scared" that we would win last place due to our stellar performance on Saturday morning. (BRIEF RECAP: Lloyds back was hurting and he was drugged, really drugged; Princess spent the Friday running the bowling center concourse and got to bed about 3:30 am - that morning; I didn't get to the room until 5 a.m. and had 2 and 1/2 hours sleep; Bob was, well, Bob. NOTE: I believe he had the high individual score for the first game!) Being "connected" as he was to the tournament committee, P said that everything would be mailed, that he was not aware of such a presentation. I only smiled.

When the time came, you guessed it, we finished dead last among 76 teams. We made a good show and received a lovely package of bowling supplies. (Note to Bob and Lloyd - Ed will bring your packets to you.)

There is more about the weekend, but I guess the old adage is true: What goes on in Atlanta, stays in Atlanta."*

Smooches!

* Except when it's about Princess. ;-)
